When should I reach out schedule my session?
If you are looking to get a family session on the schedule you can reach out anytime! Busy season is the fall - in the thick of it I generally don't have any openings until the new year. Pregnant mamas the best time to take photos is 30-35 weeks along.

How do I secure my spot and do you require a deposit?
As soon as we've decided on a date I will email you a booking link. The link includes a contract to be signed, a questionnaire, and 50% non-refundable retainer.
What session is best for a large family?
A mini session (15 minutes) works best for a family with older children or eager participants. A regular family session (60 minutes) works best for families that want time to explore the location and get to know each other as well as for families with many children (7 members or less).
Do you have grandma and grandpa in town and want to include them in your session? I can definitely do that! Including more than immediate family requires an regular family session booking and $25 per additional family member.
What will my family session be like?
My goal is to capture who your family is right now, not to make you do anything stiff or unnatural. I always get the posed everyone smiling photo but we spend the rest of our time capturing those authentic emotions. I promise we will have a lot of fun!
I encourage you to make the whole day a fun family experience. Make plans to go out for dinner or a treat before or after the session as a family.
Do you help style the session? What should we wear?
Yes! Every booked client receives coordinated outfit ideas tailored to their session type. A simple questionnaire will give you selected outfits available for purchase or from my client closet. Picking outfits should be fun - my goal is to capture your family feeling its best!
What will happen if it rains?
I give out my personal cell phone number to all clients within 24-48 hours of your session. We are able to keep in touch and make quick decisions regarding the weather. I don't typically reschedule when it is overcast or chilly but for sure if it is raining. Rescheduling during the busy season will often require switching to a weeknight.
Where do you take beach photos? Is there a travel fee?
My absolute favorite beach is on Anna Maria Island. It offers a diverse background with more than just sand and water. My favorite spots offer a bridge, foliage, rocks, a jetty, and dunes!
I also travel to Longboat Key, Siesta Key, and Apollo beach for beach sessions. Hour long sessions are priced to include my travel time to these beautiful locations.

Do you offer print packages or just digitals?
At this time I do not offer any print packages. My website is connected to a professional print lab that I do recommend to clients after our session. After downloading your gallery please take the time make prints whether it is a big wall canvas, photo cards, an album, or even a simple ornament. Prints can be treasured for years to come - those kiddos don't stay little for long!

After investing your time and money on a session I highly recommend using a professional print lab. Photographers are trained to see variations in color and contrast much more than the average person. Ordering through my website will connect you with a professional print lab or you can work directly with MPix, Miller's Lab, or McKenna Pro.
