The Experience

It's hard to put into words all that came from this experience for me but I'm excited to share and reflect. All of the education I’ve paid for so far has always been an online course so I was thrilled to find an option to work with another photographer in person. I flew to Charleston and met Victorious Photography for a whirlwind 24 hour mentorship experience. We ate lots of good food, talked about all things photography/mom life, and worked side-by-side to photograph a beautiful family at sunset on Folly Beach. Having a background in teaching really made us a good fit. Her 11 years in the business brought so much insight into client experience, running a business, and the editing process. I left with a full heart and copious notes.

Lots of Changes Coming Soon!

I am so excited to level up my client experience with so many new ideas! One of the biggest changes I've made is working with 'Style and Select' to assist all future clients in coordinating outfits to look and feel their best at their family session. The model family below was styled with the perfect tones and patterns for their beach location. My goal is to relieve some of the stress in deciding what the whole family should wear. The process involves a simple questionnaire and then you are given hand selected outfits with links to purchase. I've begun stocking a client closet full of women's dresses and kids clothing that can also be used for all family sessions.
